Nine Months
Here are a couple photos from music time at the library and a play date. Tomorrow I'm doing a baby swap with a friend, so I have the morning off (what to do!?) but in the afternoon I'll have Nicholas and his little buddy! Maybe I should just nap in the morning and get ready for the afternoon.

Puerto Rico
Finally getting around to posting something about our vacation last month to Puerto Rico. In a nutshell, it was awesome. But I did want to share a couple of examples on how vacations have changed for us.
1) If you think these photos look like a beautiful sunset, you are sorely mistaken. These photos are of a sunrise(!) Taken around 5:30am after I kicked Andy and Nicholas out of the room so I could get some sleep. For the record, I had been up most of the night since Nicholas was determined to both sleep in bed with us and nurse whenever he had the urge, which as far as I can remember was about every 20 minutes.
2) No frozen drinks at 10am
3) There is no looking cute or stylish with a baby carrier strapped to your upper body. But who really cares? Nicholas loves that carrier and no one is looking at anything other than the cuteness strapped to my chest anyway. Seriously, trying to make eye contact with people is virtually impossible.
4) Pre-baby: adults napping whenever and wherever. Post-baby: napping with baby in a position so baby (who won't nap) doesn't fall off lounge chair.

And let's not forget Nana and Pops!

Where does the time go?
It's hard to believe our little guy is 8 1/2 months already. Here are some recent photos, which reminds me, I never posted those vacation photos....another to-do on my list!
He can feed himself a cracker now....give this boy a graham cracker and you'll be his new best friend.
After looking through these photos you may be asking yourself "do they own a comb/brush?!" The answer is yes! I think this was taken about 15 minutes after we combed it.
Loving the swings at the park.
My boys:)
Nicholas' cousin Christina adores him (it might look like she is getting ready to kick him out of her rocking chair, but they are actually trying to hug and pose for the photo at the same time).
This was from the weekly kids concert at the Town Center - Mr. Knick Knack rules.
He's not crawling, but here is proof he knows how to play on his tummy....he'd just prefer to keep it under 10 seconds! Yes, he does his own hair...it's a combination of the recent humidity and rubbing it along the bumpers while he sleeps, no product required.
He prefers to play in the buff.
